再起動後にSambaサーバーに繋がらないので色々と調べた結果、通常モード(smbd)とActive Directoryモード(samba)を同時に起動しようとしてエラーになり、うまくSambaサーバーが起動していなかった模様。なのでsmbdの方を起動するようにし、sambaの方は起動させないようにした。
起動阻止
Ubuntu 14.04 LTSのようなUpstart系の場合はsambaの方のUpstart設定ファイルをリネームすればOK。
$ sudo mv /etc/init/samba-ad-dc.conf /etc/init/samba-ad-dc.conf.disable
ログ
ちなみにログに残っていたエラーがこれ。sambaバイナリを使うにはserver roleをactive directory domain controllerにするかいろいろと適切な設定しろと出ており、その結果server roleの設定がおかしいという理由で起動に失敗している。
